Andrew P. Chen, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Andrew P. Chen, M.D.,F.A.C.S.Andrew P. Chen, M.D., F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) joined Delta Eye Medical Group in 1994 after completing his medical training at Loma Linda University and his ophthalmology residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Chen is the son of long-time Lodi ophthalmologist Dr. George Chen. He practices comprehensive eyecare with emphasis on glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive surgery. Dr. Chen and his wife have two teenaged sons and are active in their church and its school. He enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, and snowboarding.

On-Tat Lee, M.D.

On-Tat Lee, M.D.On-Tat Lee, M.D. as a California native, has spent his whole life living and studying in various locations in the state. Dr. Lee received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley before studying medicine at UC Davis. He then completed his medical internship at UCSF Fresno and ophthalmology training at the USC Roski Eye Institute.



Alan S Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Alan S. Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S.Alan S. Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S., is one of the founders of Delta Eye. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1965 and completed his ophthalmology residency at USC Medical Center. Dr. Nakanishi served as Chief of Ophthalmology in US Army from 1969 to 1971 after which he came to Stockton to practice. He completed a fellowship in retina and vitreous at Pacific Medical Center if 1978 and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration in 1991. Dr. Nakanishi is a former California Assemblyman and currently serves as a Lodi City Councilman. He and his wife have three grown children.

Julio Narvaez, M.D.

Julio Narvaez, M.D.Julio Narvaez, M.D., recently joined Delta Eye Medical Group as a cornea specialist. Dr. Narvaez holds prestigious credentials as having been a full professor of ophthalmology at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from that institution in 1992. Dr. Narvaez completed fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery from Emory University Eye Center in 2003. His wife is a family practice physician, and they have three small children. Dr. Narvaez enjoys doing medical mission work in addition to writing and speaking.

Pamela Y. Tsuchiya, M.D.

Pamela Y. Tsuchiya, M.D.Pamela Y. Tsuchiya, M.D., earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1990 and did her ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda’s Medical Center. She is the daughter of Dr. Alan Nakanishi and has wanted to practice ophthalmology since childhood. She joined Delta Eye in 1997 and works in the Tracy office. Married to a physician, she and her husband have three young children. Dr. Tsuchiya is known for her compassionate bedside manner. She enjoys homeschooling her children and participating in church activities.

Hana Rha, O.D.

Hana Rha, O.D.Hana Rha, O.D., earned her degree in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago after graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in integrative biology. Dr. Rha joined Delta Eye in 2001 and practices in the Tracy location. She and her husband have two young children.

Julie Tse, O.D.

Julie Tse, O.D.Julie Tse, O.D. received her doctorate from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City and bachelors in Chemical Biology from UC Berkeley. After living in New York City for four years, she had the to absorb different perspectives on the cultures and lifestyles in the East Coast. Today, she returns to her hometown of Stockton, Ca to serve the community that inspired and supported her endeavors and aspirations.
Dr. Tse provides full scope optometry. Her specific interests within optometry are complex contact lens fits (custom cosmetic contact lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses) and ocular disease (glaucoma, diabetes, hypertension, and macular degeneration). Dr. Tse’s externships include Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Health Care System in Tucson, AZ and OMNI Eye services in Iselin, NJ — which has kept her updated in the latest technologies in treating and diagnosing multiple optometric sub-specialties.

Sylvester Nguyen, O.D.

Sylvester Nguyen, O.D.Sylvester Nguyen, O.D. attended the University of the Pacific, Stockton where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Nguyen has a strong interest in contact lens fittings and ocular disease management. He enjoys working with children and giving comprehensive eye exams in Spanish.
He is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and San Joaquin Optometric Society.
Aside from spending time with his family, Dr. Nguyen enjoys reading literature, taking scenic drives, and exploring our national parks.
