Andrew P. Chen, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Andrew P. Chen, M.D., F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) joined Delta Eye Medical Group in 1994 after completing his medical training at Loma Linda University and his ophthalmology residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Chen is the son of long-time Lodi ophthalmologist Dr. George Chen. He practices comprehensive eyecare with emphasis on glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive surgery. Dr. Chen and his wife have two teenaged sons and are active in their church and its school. He enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, and snowboarding.
Jeffery J. Ing, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Jeffrey J. Ing, M.D.., F.A.C.S., completed both his medical degree (1992) and ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University Medical School. He went on to complete a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Mayo Clinic. He joined Delta Eye Medical Group in 1999 after practicing in Puerto Rico for one year. Dr. Ing performs cornea transplants and LASIK refractive surgery in his role as a cornea specialist as well as practicing general ophthalmology. Dr. Ing is very interested in medical missions which he often combines with scuba diving and underwater photography. He and his wife have three children.
Alan S Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Alan S. Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S., is one of the founders of Delta Eye. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1965 and completed his ophthalmology residency at USC Medical Center. Dr. Nakanishi served as Chief of Ophthalmology in US Army from 1969 to 1971 after which he came to Stockton to practice. He completed a fellowship in retina and vitreous at Pacific Medical Center if 1978 and a Master's Degree in Health Administration in 1991. Dr. Nakanishi is a former California Assemblyman and currently serves as a Lodi City Councilman. He and his wife have three grown children.
Pamela Y. Tsuchiya, M.D.
Pamela Y. Tsuchiya, M.D., earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1990 and did her ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda's Medical Center. She is the daughter of Dr. Alan Nakanishi and has wanted to practice ophthalmology since childhood. She joined Delta Eye in 1997 and works in the Tracy office. Married to a physician, she and her husband have three young children. Dr. Tsuchiya is known for her compassionate bedside manner. She enjoys homeschooling her children and participating in church activities.
Hana Rha, O.D.
Hana Rha, O.D., earned her degree in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago after graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in integrative biology. Dr. Rha joined Delta Eye in 2001 and practices in the Tracy location. She and her husband have two young children.
Thanh Nguyen, O.D.
Thanh T. Nguyen, O.D., received her optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2006. She joined Delta Eye in 2007 and has participated in various research projects since that time. She is currently the President of the San Joaquin Optometric Society. A newlywed, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling with her husband.
